I used to follow the Grateful Dead. Being creatively inclined, I made jewellery to support myself. The jewellery was popular, and I really enjoyed making it, so I expanded to selling things to shops in the cities the Dead played in. I started with intricate beadwork. Then expanded into stained glass. Then into small sewn accessories. Then into silversmithing and finally into screen printing.
I moved to San Francisco to go to art school with the idea of opening a small jewellery studio. But I got distracted by the internet EXPLOSION and worked for a couple years as a web designer. Then the world and adventure beckoned and I ended up in Asia teaching English for almost 10 years.
I now live in Berlin and have gone back to what I love, making things with my hands, and wandering the world. During my travels I am always on the lookout for inspiration to include in my work when I’m in Berlin.
This shop is the result of me getting back to my roots and my first love.
