Totoro Meeple

The Totoro Meeple came about when I was planning to do Leipzig Buchmesse and Manga Comic Con. I’d lived in Japan and I’ve always loved Miyazaki’s films, so I thought Totoro would be a fun crossover for the event. A friend actually introduced me to Miyazaki’s movies years ago, and she once told me the Catbus reminded her of me because I can smile like that. I think Totoro is really cute, so turning him into a Meeple seemed like a pretty good idea.
